Welcome to the annual National Greener Ireland Expo for 2009.
The public and industry are becoming more and more aware of their surroundings and the environment they live and work in. We are increasingly making changes on how we can re-use, recycle and reduce our carbon footprint. By adapting our lifestyle we can save both money and energy, improve our nutritional intake and long term sustain a healthier life and environment.
Most of us are aware of some changes that we can make and can continue to implement both at home and in the work place. However constant education and information is a must to continue implementing these changes. This event will again, bring all of these elements along with additional allied information together under one roof.
- Innovative products – Tomorrows world
- Awareness and information on energy saving
- How to be green and reduce household costs
- Workshops for the young
- Visitor goodie bags
- Celebrity guests: both national and international guests.
- Seminars from our guests and chosen exhibitors - We are working on the detailed agenda for the seminars, workshops & Attractions that will be published on March 31st, covering the following topics: carbon footprint reduction, energy preservation, energy rating & assessment, organic produce etc...
The idea is to educate and showcase how we can help the environment and improve on our lifestyle. Best of all, to compensate for the carbon footprint of the exhibition and for every visitor attending a donation will be made to Friends of the Earth to support their work to reduce the impact of climate change.
